Ahh yes, Munford. Well, what can be said for town in north east Alabama that has 2000 people or less? Not much I guess.
When I was there it rained a little and then I left. Didn't get to talk to anybody or nothin. Well I did talk to one guy sort of.
Me: Hey, hi. Know where I could get a bite around here?
Guy: nope.
Me: Oh you new in town too cause I just got here, when did you....
Guy: been here all my life.
Me: Oh.
Then, and I'm not making this up, he literally walked over to the side of the road and laid down in a ditch and took a nap.
There is a nice looking house I saw called the "steam boat" house. It was built in 1838 and it was a plantation house.
The year 1838 is ironic because that's the same year that a certain cousin of mine last had sex. Not you Matt.
That was pretty much it in the way of Munford. I don't really recommend it all that much.
Oh, I almost forgot. They do have a lot of auto racing there. It's just east of Talladega, so you know. Also there is a lot of churches like 15, which is a little much considering there's only 1900 people that live there. Also Don't confuse this with Munford, Tennessee which is actually where the water tower picture is from.
